Selective Encryption of the Versatile Video Coding Standard

versatile video coding (VVC) is the next generation standard developed by joint experts team (JVET) and released in July 2020. VVC introduces several new tools providing a significant gain over high efficiency (HEVC) standard. It well known that increasing adds more dependencies bitstream making format-compliant encryption with challenging. In this paper we tackle problem of selective constant bitrate. These two constraints ensure encrypted can be decoded any decoder while bitrate remains unchanged encryption. The all possible syntax elements investigated.
